The 40th Anniversary Invasion
2015. For those that don’t know the Invasion created in 1976 always starts with the choosing of the Homecoming Queen of Cherry Grove. Panzi the Invasion founder was the Homecoming queen in both 1976-77.

It was decided to have two boats this year to mark the anniversary. One with dancers and a marching band, and the other with the usual drag participants.
As always it starts in Cherry Grove as many gather for the trip.
